Setting The Date
Couples who wish to be married at the First Congregational Church should make their plans as far in advance as possible. Please contact the church office (508-945-0800) as soon as you have chosen the date for your wedding. Get your wedding license no more than 60 days prior to the wedding. Full details are available from the Town Clerk’s office at any city and town in Massachusetts. Meeting with the Minister One or more meetings with the minister are suggested. The pastor will meet with you to discuss your marriage and help you plan the ceremony. Sanctuary Our sanctuary can hold up to 200 people. We have both an organ and a grand piano. Our sanctuary has two side aisles. |
Music
Our church organist will be happy to discuss the music for your wedding ceremony. Our organist plays for all services at First Congregational Church, unless other arrangements are made in advance. Soloists and special musicians are welcome. If you have arranged for your own soloist, he or she should contact our organist. Soloists and musicians should bring a copy of their music for the organist. The church does not set fees for the soloists and musicians that you provide. Please make your own arrangements with them. The church can provide a soloist, if you wish, for an additional fee of $150.00. |
