Funerals
Let not your hearts be troubled; believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?
- John 14: 1-2
When a loved one dies, it is comforting to know that the faith community is there to support you. Whether it is a funeral service, memorial service, graveside committal, or a service to celebrate a special life, First Congregational Church serves not only its members but the community as well.
Most arrangements are made through local funeral directors; however you may call our minister directly for special circumstances (508-945-0800). The minister meets with the family beforehand to plan a service of personal remembrances, scripture and hymns.
If desired, arrangements may be made to hold an after-service reception.
For general information, you may call the church office (508-945-0800), or Contact Us
