Welcome to Chatham Congregational Church. We are located in the heart of Chatham, and in the hearts of our community. We welcome all people, of all ages, to join us and become part of a wonderful community that has roots back into the time when this town was founded.

Who Are We?
We are a congregation of more than 200 members from many different church backgrounds and age groups. Our programs are designed to serve all ages and we pride ourselves on our many intergenerational activities. We are an active church initiating "fun" raising events and service projects to help others in our church, our community, our country and throughout the world.

FAMILY FUN NIGHTS Every Wednesday Throughout the Summer.

      3 to 5pm - TYE DYE Shirts, a Cape Cod Vacation keepsake, for children and adults on the church lawn. $5 / kids and $10 / adults (includes shirt)

      4:30 to 7pm - CHICKEN BBQ on the lawn using the famous Cornell University BBQ sauce. The dinner features barbequed chicken, baked beans, coleslaw, rolls, dessert and drink with hot dogs available for kids. Dinner price $10 for adults, $5 for children. Take out is available.

History The First Congregational Church of Chatham is as old as Chatham itself, having come into being when, in 1665, William Nickerson, the first settler, brought his family to Monomoyick, as it was then called, built his house and conducted Sabbath services there. The nearest church was in Eastham, a difficult journey away and although the Monomoyick people contributed to its support, they were not often able to attend services. Music Programs The music program at our church includes the Chancel Choir, the Carillon Handbell Choir, the Children's Choir, the Second Sunday Singers, and special concerts around the year. More on music programs Education and Church School God is still speaking through Church School and Adult Education as we meet our baptismal responsibilities and provide education so that adults may discern new aspects of faith and a deepening of the spirits.
